Hi Fraser Band Families!
My name is Mrs. Peyton Krantz, and I am the Elementary Band Director for Fraser Schools! I am thrilled to be back in the school district where my musical journey started.
I began in 5th grade band playing the clarinet and eventually moved to bass clarinet in 6th grade. I continued to be involved in the music programs at Fraser, including Symphony Band, Fraser Singers, the pit orchestra for musicals, piano studies, marching band, and more. I was inspired by my former teachers, and after graduating from Fraser High School in 2017, I decided to pursue my own career in music education. I attended Wayne State University from 2017-2021 and earned my Bachelor’s of Music with a concentration in instrumental music education. My first year of teaching was spent with the Roseville Community School District teaching K-5 vocal music and 5th grade band.
